As well as the campsite, we love to make and create stuff, all sorts of stuff from a pumpkin made of horseshoes to plant labels from local rocks and wood burnt signs and decoration. Everything we do is made on site and, if you're lucky, you might even get to watch us making it in the weatherproofed workshop with viewing area.
Royston loves nothing but more than getting out to the workshop, taking a few used horse shoes and creating something beautiful - and useful! Relatively new to welding, Royston is more or less self taught (with a few handy hints from our eldest James), and has created some beautiful pieces from horseshoes, and other random scrap metals. Keep your eye out for the forthcoming Mermaid of Ferry View - she's a work in progress!
Royston has also recently started with woodturning, so be prepared for more stunning creations from the workshop!
Check out Royston's Facebook Page, or if your looking for something specific, drop him at email.
Vikki just loves creating, drawing, painting, woodburning, knitting, sewing, the list goes on; except crochet - the one craft that she can't turn her hand to, and she has tried! Vikki even drew all our signs on site for social distancing, hand sanitising and mask reminders. You'll never know what project Vikki might have on the go, but it's well worth a look to see what she has available, or what she's currently working on.
All of our projects are available to purchase, if you are interested in anything you see just ask.
